Lost wax casting technique
The MIRIAMNORI jewelry collection consists of pieces handcrafted with the lost wax technique.
This technique (very old) consists in creating a wax model and then in the subsequent fusion in the laboratory.
Being small objects, this processing is called “microfusion.
The same technique is used by sculptors to create their own works sometimes of very large size.
The waxes that will then become the jewels, are arranged in a “cluster” around a pin (called a tree), and then placed so composed inside a cylinder that will then be filled with plaster.
